Piet Mondrian
Dutch painter (March 7, 1872 to Feb. 1, 1944), a proponent of "neoplasticism" and a precursor to the abstract movement. His use of rectangles and linearity and his choices of non representational images resonated with me. Very early I was drawn to similar themes and when I discovered his work I felt an affinity to him. Consider these photos as a homage to him.
