Oakland airport was small circa 1958 when these photos were taken. It was spartan by today's standards. I worked there for United Airlines as a baggage loader, what we called a 'Ramp Tramp'. At that time there was only the one terminal cluster which housed the ticket offices, lounge area, baggage handling, arrivals, departures, and the 'International Room' which was a single room restaurant.
